Chelsea fans, football lovers, everyone’s been buzzing about Willian Estêvão, aka Messinho. The 17-year-old Brazilian wonderkid has just made the leap to Stamford Bridge after lighting up Palmeiras and even breaking into the Brazil senior team.

Some highlights:

Youngest goalscorer for Brazil since Pelé (!!) after netting a bicycle kick.

Nicknamed “Messinho” for his silky dribbling and Messi-like ball control.

Already has 30+ goal contributions before turning 18, more than Neymar, Vini Jr., or Endrick had at the same stage.

Former Brazil legend Branco says: “Since Neymar, he is the greatest player I’ve seen born in Brazil… his ceiling is a bit higher.”

Chelsea manager Maresca says he’s “doing fantastic” back in Brazil before the move.

So here’s the debate: Can Estêvão really be the next big Brazilian superstar, maybe even bigger than Neymar? Or is the hype too much, too soon?

People forget Neymar carried Brazil’s golden hopes for a whole decade. Comparing a 17-year-old to him is a huge burden.

Yes, Estevão has the talent, but Neymar had charisma, flair, and superstar aura. Let’s see if Estevão can replicate that outside Brazil.

Estevão is a cheat code in FM25 already—turns into a Ballon d’Or winner every save. The devs don’t usually overrate kids unless there’s genuine expectation.

I’d say: Neymar → Vini Jr. → Endrick + Estevão. Brazil’s future is scary stacked.

As a Brazilian, I’ve been following him since Palmeiras U-17s. His ball control is unreal. The ball sticks to his feet like glue, almost like Messi. He’s skinny but deceptively strong—reminds me of Neymar when he first broke through at Santos.

The hype is real. If he stays injury-free, he can be the face of Brazil for the next decade.

He’s already the youngest Chelsea player to start a home match since Nathan Aké in 2013. That shows how much faith the club has in him. The farewell goal he scored against Chelsea at the Club World Cup was insane too. 🔥

For me, the only question is: Can he handle the physical side of the Premier League?
