The English FA has confirmed that Thomas Tuchel has signed new deal until after Euro 2028.
Tuchel was announced as England head coach in October 2024 before officially taking charge on 1 January 2025 — and has now extended his contract until 2028.
Since taking over, England have enjoyed a strong start, including a perfect World Cup qualifying campaign where they qualified for the 2026 World Cup without conceding a goal — a first in European qualifying history.
Tuchel became the third foreign manager in England history (after Sven-Göran Eriksson and Fabio Capello) and the first German to take charge of the Three Lions.
