I was just reading about the whole situation with the 2027 Champions League Final. It was supposed to be at the San Siro, but because of construction work, UEFA is looking for a new venue. Right now, Madrid’s Metropolitano Stadium and Baku Olympic Stadium seem to be the top contenders.
I remember watching the 2019 final at the Metropolitano when Liverpool beat Tottenham. The atmosphere was insane! But Baku has hosted some big events too, so it’s definitely in the race.
What do you guys think? Should the final go to Madrid again, or should UEFA try something different with Baku?
