In what is already being described as one of the most disturbing and chaotic scenes in modern European football, Slavia Prague's Czech league title celebrations were brought to a violent halt in the most extraordinary fashion imaginable.

With just three minutes remaining on the clock, in the 97th minute, Slavia Prague stood on the verge of being crowned Czech champions. The trophy was within touching distance. Then, in a matter of seconds, everything unraveled.

Slavia Prague supporters invaded the pitch in large numbers, descending into full-scale chaos and launching violent attacks on Sparta players and fans using flares.

The scenes were as terrifying as they were surreal, a moment that will check in infamy in Czech football and beyond.

The consequences are expected to be severe. Slavia Prague are widely anticipated to receive a 3–0 forfeit for the match, and further disciplinary action, including potential point deductions, could yet follow.

To be just 180 seconds from lifting the title, only for fan violence to strip it all away, is a football tragedy unlike any other in recent memory.

Was this the most self-destructive moment in football fan history?

Should Slavia Prague face relegation or a full title ban?

How do football authorities prevent pitch invasions of this scale?
