Ever since The VAR (video assistant referee) was introduced in the Premier League, it's been one mistake or the other. The English video assistant referees have been very inconsistent with their decision making which has led to premier league fans calling for VAR to be scrapped.

The latest episode of VAR's inconsistency in the EPL happened in the Tottenham Vs Liverpool game at the London Stadium, where Liverpool's Luis Diaz was denied a clear goal, a decision that clearly swung the game in Tottenham's favor.

Shortly after the game, The PGMOL release a statement admitting a mistake was made in Spurs vs. Liverpool:
'PGMOL acknowledge a significant human error occurred during the first half of Tottenham Hotspur vs. Liverpool'

'The goal by Luis Díaz was disallowed for offside by the on-field team of match officials. This was a clear and obvious factual error and should have resulted in the goal being awarded through VAR intervention, however, the VAR failed to intervene'

After all said and done, should VAR be scrapped in the EPL or should it be sustained? let's hear your thoughts 😁👇

English football has always been enmeshed in controversies, so I'm not surprised.
