As the February trade deadline approaches, the Sacramento Kings are said to be actively preparing for a strong push to acquire a new superstar. NBA insider Shams Charania shared this information on an episode of FanDuel's "Run It Back," revealing that under the guidance of head coach Mike Brown, the team is ready to make bold moves to enhance their roster with a high-caliber player.

The Kings have experienced an upward trajectory since Brown took over as head coach last season, notably ending a record-breaking 16-year playoff drought in the 2022-23 season.
"I think this is the first time in a really long time, maybe when Chris Webber was at the Kings, that you can look at Sacramento as like a trade destination," Charania stated. "They're going to be involved in every star player: Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, maybe Zach LaVine, whatever stars become available.

"Because Monte McNair and that organization have done a good job of keeping their assets, they have tradable contracts. So they're gonna be a player for stars coming up. I think, eventually, they could add a third star."

At the moment, Sacramento's star power consists of De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis.
