The 2025-26 UEFA Champions League final promises to be a fascinating clash of styles as defending champions Paris Saint-Germain face Premier League champions Arsenal at the Puskás Aréna on Saturday.

PSG arrive in Budapest aiming to become the first French club to successfully defend the European Cup, while Arsenal are seeking their first-ever Champions League title, 20 years after their only previous final appearance ended in defeat against FC Barcelona.

Why PSG Could Win

Luis Enrique's side have been the tournament's most explosive attacking force. Their 44 goals in the competition underline just how dangerous they are going forward, with the trio of Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia causing problems for every defence they have faced.

PSG have eliminated strong opposition throughout the knockout rounds, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. They also head into the final having scored in 27 consecutive matches across all competitions.

Their biggest advantage may be on Arsenal's right side. If Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber is not fully fit, Kvaratskhelia could find significant space against a less experienced replacement.

Why Arsenal Could Win

Arsenal's route to the final has been built on organisation, discipline and defensive excellence. Mikel Arteta's team remain unbeaten in this season's Champions League and have recorded nine clean sheets, the best defensive record in the competition.

The Gunners possess match-winners of their own in Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice. Rice's ability to protect the back four and control midfield could be crucial in slowing PSG's transitions.

Arsenal also arrive with momentum, having won five consecutive matches in all competitions and secured the Premier League title.

Key Battle

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia vs Arsenal's right flank

This duel could decide the final. The Georgian winger has been outstanding throughout PSG's European campaign. If Timber is unavailable or short of match fitness, Arsenal may rely on youngster Cristhian Mosquera to contain one of Europe's most dangerous attackers.

Predicted Lineups

PSG:
Safonov; Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.

Arsenal:
Raya; Mosquera, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Lewis-Skelly, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Trossard; Gyokeres.

Prediction

PSG 1-0 Arsenal
