According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino is in pole position to become Real Madrid's new head coach if Carlo Ancelotti leaves. While club legend, Raul Gonzalez is the likely alternative if Madrid fails to land Pochettino.

New Bayern boss, Thomas Tuchel was rumored to be the preferred candidate to replace Ancellotti before his appointment as Bayern Munich's coach last week following the axing of Julian Nagelsmann.

Ancellotti is widely believed to be on his way out at the Bernabeu, with rumors of him taking charge of the Brazilian national team growing stronger every day.
