Liverpool is said to be interested in the midfielder as part of their midfield overhaul. Inter is reportedly open to bids of £44.2m for Barella, as they need funds to sign a replacement for defender Milan Skriniar. Other clubs, such as Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United, are also keeping an eye on the player. Liverpool is expected to let Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita leave, and Arthur's loan deal from Juventus will not be made permanent.
Klopp is also pushing for James Milner, another key player whose contract expires in June, to be offered a new one-year deal.
