Despite the interest from Saudi Arabia, according to journalist Daniele Longo, the 37-year-old is excited by the prospect of joining Chelsea. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly wanted to sign Ronaldo in the summer, but Thomas Tuchel, who was the manager at the time, was against the idea of the Portugal international joining the club.
