The story behind Raúl Asencio's absence from Real Madrid's squad has been revealed by Marca. 😤

A conflict erupted between Asencio and Arbeloa after the defender was dropped despite playing through injury. Asencio CONFRONTED the coach, which didn't go down well.

Arbeloa demanded a PUBLIC APOLOGY in front of the entire squad. Asencio initially refused, leading to his continued exclusion.

He eventually apologized and returned to the squad vs Mallorca and Bayern, without seeing any playing time.
