Why Ava Chose to Leave WWE

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed Ava’s WWE exit on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, with the former NXT General Manager confirming that last Tuesday’s episode of NXT was her final appearance after choosing not to re sign.

Meltzer explained that the decision was not related to creative frustration or backstage issues, saying Ava simply decided she no longer wanted to continue. He noted that her family owns a studio and she has other options outside of wrestling.

It was also mentioned that Ava’s partner, Tatyanna Dumas, was recently released by WWE, though there is no clear indication that this influenced her decision.

Alvarez added that there was no sign on NXT that Ava’s departure was imminent, while Meltzer stressed that the choice was entirely Ava’s and not the result of WWE planning to move on from her.
