Alright folks, it’s time to ruffle some feathers.
Football pundits are supposed to give us insights, analysis and maybe a laugh… but let’s be honest, half the time they just wind us up.

Between the constant bias, recycled clichés, over-the-top shouting and awkward banter, some of these guys are more entertaining for their blunders than their brains.

So let’s settle it: Who’s the WORST football pundit on TV right now?

  • Jamie Carragher
Pros: Passionate, fiery debates, good tactical reads.
Cons: Shouty, over-dramatic, accused of Liverpool bias.
Infamous moment: Spitting incident that got him suspended.
  • Gary Neville
Pros: Clear tactical analysis, respected by pros.
Cons: Obsessed with Man United, sometimes comes across like a politician.
Infamous moment: His meltdown over the Glazers & Ronaldo saga.
  • Roy Keane
Pros: Box office TV, brutally honest, no sugar-coating.
Cons: Same angry “back in my day” rants, little tactical depth.
Infamous moment: “That’s your job!” tirade about De Gea.
  • Paul Scholes
Pros: Straight to the point, no nonsense.
    Cons: Dull delivery, zero charisma.
Infamous moment: Mumbling his way through an entire post-match segment.
  • Rio Ferdinand
Pros: Confident, polished delivery, charismatic presence.
Cons: Strong United bias, more hype-man than analyst at times.
Infamous moment: “Ole’s at the wheel!” speech.
  • Micah Richards
Pros: Infectious laugh, entertaining, good chemistry with Keane.
Cons: Seen as lightweight on tactics, more vibes than insight.
Infamous moment: Laughing uncontrollably while Keane scowled.
  • Wayne Rooney
    Pros: Direct, doesn’t mince words.
Cons: Flat delivery, limited charisma, lacks depth.
Infamous moment: Looking like he’d rather be anywhere else during analysis.
  • John Obi Mikel
Pros: Brings African/PL perspective, calm delivery.
Cons: Sometimes too laid-back, accused of Chelsea bias.
Infamous moment: His “players partying too much” hot take went viral.
  • Ian Wright
Pros: Funny, warm, connects with fans, great storyteller.
Cons: Too much banter, sometimes avoids serious analysis.
Infamous moment: Singing Arsenal songs check on air.
  • Alan Shearer
    Pros: Legendary striker, steady presence.
Cons: Safe, predictable, often called boring.
Infamous moment: Droning through a Newcastle loss like it was a funeral.
  • Other (name and shame your pick!)

It’s Mikel for me, love the guy as a player, but as a pundit it’s like he’s just chatting with his mates. Zero depth.(n)

Shearer is boring but he’s consistent. I’d rather that than Micah’s fake laughter and Keane’s dinosaur takes.

Wrighty isn’t the worst, he’s at least entertaining. Scholes though… I’ve had more fun listening to paint dry;)

Roy Keane is TV gold, but let’s be real, he doesn’t analyse, he just moans. Without Micah next to him he’d be unwatchable
