West Ham has reached an agreement to sign German striker Niclas Füllkrug from Borussia Dortmund for £27 million. The 31-year-old had an impressive debut season with Dortmund, scoring 15 goals in 46 appearances and helping the team reach the Champions League final. He joined Dortmund from Werder Bremen in a £12.6 million move last summer.

Füllkrug also made a notable impact at Euro 2024, scoring twice for Germany in their run to the quarter-finals, even though he didn’t start any of the matches. West Ham is actively searching for a striker and has also been in talks with Aston Villa about Colombian forward Jhon Duran.

Under new manager Julen Lopetegui, the club has already added Wolves captain Max Kilman for £40 million, goalkeeper Wes Foderingham from Sheffield United, and Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme for £25.5 million from Palmeiras.

The Hammers are also considering signing Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Leeds United’s Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville.
