Erik ten Hag's team has allegedly offered a fixed fee of €50m (£42.8m) with an additional €10m (£8.6m) in add-ons for the young forward. Hojlund had an impressive record last season with Atalanta, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in 34 appearances after joining from Sturm Graz. PSG is also interested in the center-forward and has reportedly made a bid of €50m (£43m) for his services, as per The Athletic.
However, the report suggests that PSG is prepared to "walk away" if their offer is not accepted, and the bid's success seems unlikely. Atalanta is believed to be seeking €70m (£60m) plus bonuses for Hojlund, who is said to have already reached a personal agreement with Manchester United.
In the transfer market this summer, PSG is actively looking for a new center-forward, and there have been strong links to Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic as well.
Adding to the dynamics, Kylian Mbappe is allegedly listed for transfer by PSG. The club aims to sell their star player this season to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
Nonetheless, PSG appears hesitant to go above €50m (£43m) for Hojlund's acquisition, and the player himself reportedly prefers a move to Manchester United, making a transfer to Paris less likely at this stage.
