Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has opted not to provide a specific timeline for his return to the field after a period of being sidelined due to a shoulder injury.
The 29-year-old sustained the shoulder injury during Scotland's 2-0 victory over Spain in their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign on October 12, and he has been absent from both club and country matches since then.

As a result, Robertson has sat out Liverpool's last seven games in various competitions, including a draw against Luton Town and a surprising loss to Toulouse in the Europa League. Jurgen Klopp has seen Kostas Tsimikas step up from a deputy to the first-choice left-back, while even center-back Joe Gomez has taken on the left side of the Reds' backline in recent matches.

Despite his absence on the field, the 67-time Scotland international was present at Hampden Park when Steve Clarke's team concluded their qualification campaign with a 3-3 draw against Norway. At the event, the full-back offered an update on the status of his injury.

"I'm getting there, slowly and surely. Surgery was a success which was the main thing, no complications from it or anything like that," Robertson told Viaplay Sports during their coverage of Scotland's clash with Norway.

"It's so far so good, three weeks since my surgery now so everything is progressing well, I have just got to take it bit by bit and week by week. Everything has went well up to this point and hopefully that continues. Hopefully, before we know it I'll be back on the grass.

"I've not looked that far ahead yet," the Liverpool man said when he was quizzed on a potential return date. "I'm just trying to take it week by week, I'm trying not to get frustrated, I'm not the best injured so I'm trying to take small wins every single week.

"I don't want to put a game in mind and then I don't make it or I come back before then. I am just taking it slowly but surely and then there will be a time to start pushing it and when that comes I'll try and get on the pitch as quickly as I can."
