The transfer of Liverpool midfielder Fabinho from the Premier League to the Saudi Pro League is currently facing a delay due to an unexpected reason, his dogs.

As reported on talkSPORT, the £40 million deal has hit a snag because, Fabinho's two beloved pets, which happen to be French bulldogs are prohibited in Saudi Arabia. The country classifies these dogs as "dangerous and aggressive," leading to their restriction from entry.

Interestingly, this is not the first time such an issue has arisen, as Al-Ettifaq boss, Steven Gerrard, also encountered a similar problem when he was signing up as their new manager. However, in Gerrard's case, his dogs were eventually granted permission to accompany him into Saudi Arabia.
