Maher, 29, is coming off a bronze medal with the U.S. rugby sevens team at the 2024 Olympics and now plays professionally for the Bristol Bears. She’s also built a massive social media following, popped up in Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue, and has been pretty open about wanting to break into Hollywood one day. She admitted in a BBC interview that WWE has reached out, and while she’s interested, wrestling might just be a stepping stone for her acting ambitions.
Brown, 28, has a completely different profile. She was a star at Baylor national champion, Big 12 Player of the Year, multiple All-American nods and while her WNBA career with the Dallas Wings and Phoenix Mercury has been more modest, she still brings serious size and presence. At 6’7, she’d be the tallest woman on WWE’s roster if she signed tomorrow.

Neither has put pen to paper yet, but the fact WWE is openly talking to athletes of this caliber while they’re still competing shows they’re serious about finding crossover stars. Maher has charisma and personality to burn, while Brown would bring an intimidating physical presence that the women’s division has honestly never seen before.
If one (or both) of them actually takes the leap, who do you think would fit better in WWE the charismatic rugby Olympian or the towering basketball powerhouse?
