Later in the night, Cody Rhodes faced off with Andrade, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Damian Priest. The final moments were tense, with Nakamura nearly stealing the victory by hitting Cody with a Cross Rhodes. But Cody turned the tables, landed his own Cross Rhodes on Nakamura, and picked up the three-count.
With the tournament heating up, Orton is set to face Sami Zayn in the semifinals, while Rhodes waits to see who he'll face next. On the women’s side of the bracket, Jade Cargill is set to meet Roxanne Perez, while Alexa Bliss will take on the winner of Asuka vs. Stephanie McMahon.
This year’s King and Queen of the Ring tournaments mark the return of the event after last year's edition in Saudi Arabia, where Gunther defeated Orton to become King, and Nia Jax bested Lyra Valkyria to earn the Queen’s crown.
