The draw for the 2026 Australian Open has been confirmed, with the world’s top players learning their routes through the season’s first Grand Slam, which runs from January 18 to February 1.

Emma Raducanu begins her campaign against Thailand’s Mananchaya Sawangkaew and could face world number one Aryna Sabalenka in the third round. Venus Williams opens against Olga Danilovic, with a possible second-round clash against Coco Gauff, while defending champion Madison Keys starts against Oleksandra Oliynykova.

In the men’s draw, world number one Carlos Alcaraz faces Australia’s Adam Walton and has a favourable path on paper. Novak Djokovic, chasing a 25th major title, opens against Pedro Martinez, while third seed Alexander Zverev could meet Britain’s Cameron Norrie in the third round.

Norrie is the only seeded British man and starts against Benjamin Bonzi. Jacob Fearnley and Arthur Fery also feature, while Stan Wawrinka faces Laslo Djere in what could be his final Australian Open appearance.
